I am so thankful you started this blog.  Since you stopped writing for the Burbank (Mis)Leader, it has been nearly impossible to get good, insightful or informative commentary in this town.  Your blog is much needed.   

     I certainly agree with your idea of term limits for city-wide elections.. Maybe 2 terms is enough. I agree with you, we really need fresh ideas. I certainly was disappointed in the School Board race. Our schools are mediocre at best. The two  high schools are non-descript. In particular athletics, where they remain among the lowest performing in Southern California. New thinking is needed on the Board, in particular the search for and employment of a  world class superintendent. No expense should be spared in the hiring of a creative and out-of-the-bosuperintendent who can charge up the district.
